Launch Year: 2024In 2024, Rushd Charity Foundation launched the "Learn and Earn" program to help prevent vulnerable children from dropping out of school due to financial hardship.Through this initiative, students whose families are unable to cover essential living and educational expenses receive monthly financial assistance. This support enables children to remain in school instead of leaving their education to work and earn an income, giving them the opportunity to build a brighter future through learning.Since its launch, the program has helped a number of vulnerable children continue their education and has contributed to reducing the risk of school dropout. Rushd Charity Foundation aims to expand this initiative to support more children, ensuring that financial difficulties do not prevent them from accessing education and achieving their full potential.
Implementation Period: Winter 2026 Location: Sediq Akbar Madrasa, Kalakan Village, Kabul Province, AfghanistanDuring the winter of 2026, Rushd Charity Foundation organized a Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) course at Sediq Akbar Madrasa in Kalakan Village, Kabul Province.Approximately 200 students participated in the program and learned about the life, noble character, conduct, and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The course aimed to strengthen children's religious and moral education while making meaningful use of the winter school break, helping students develop a deeper understanding of the Prophet's Seerah and Islamic values.At the conclusion of the course, participants completed a final examination. Rushd Charity Foundation then organized an award ceremony to recognize the students' achievements. Awards and certificates were presented to the top-performing students, while several other students with outstanding performance also received certificates and prizes in recognition of their dedication and effort.The program was designed to encourage children to learn more about the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), inspire continued learning, and promote a spirit of healthy academic competition. Through initiatives like this, Rushd Charity Foundation remains committed to supporting the educational, moral, and spiritual development of children in Afghanistan.

Implementation Year: 2022 Location: Kabul Province and Babus Area, Logar Province Funding Partner: Peaceland Foundation Total Assistance Value: Approximately USD 17,441In 2022, before the official registration of Rushd Charity Foundation, the foundation's founders and volunteer team, with financial support from Peaceland Foundation, implemented a humanitarian food assistance program for vulnerable families in Kabul Province and the Babus area of Logar Province.Under this initiative, 500 vulnerable families received food packages containing flour, cooking oil, beans, and other essential food items. The assistance was provided in response to increasing poverty, unemployment, and rising food prices, which had significantly affected the ability of many families to meet their basic needs.The program was implemented to strengthen food security, reduce economic hardship, and provide assistance while preserving the dignity and respect of all beneficiaries.
Implementation Year: 2020 Total Assistance Value: Approximately USD 210,860In 2020, before the official registration of Rushd Charity Foundation, the Rushd team partnered with Peaceland Foundation to support a large humanitarian initiative aimed at improving the nutrition of pregnant women and infants in Afghanistan.Through this initiative, 7,199 aid packages containing a total of 43,194 cans of infant formula, weighing nearly 38.9 metric tons and valued at approximately USD 210,860, were prepared. The assistance included formula for pregnant women as well as specialized formula for infants from birth to six months of age. The supplies were allocated for distribution to eligible families through the Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan.The program aimed to improve maternal and infant nutrition while supporting vulnerable families facing economic hardship.

The assistance was provided in response to poverty, unemployment, and limited access to essential food supplies, helping families meet their immediate nutritional needs.The program aimed to strengthen food security, reduce economic hardship, and support vulnerable families while preserving the dignity and respect of all beneficiaries.
